Garrett Gilbert Godfrey led Lake Travis to the 2007 Texas UIL Division II Class 4A Championship State. When finished the season in 2007, he broke the record for the state to supplement (359), through the efforts (555) and yards (4827) [5].

He took part in the 10th anniversary of ESPN RISE’s Elite 11 quarterback event 21-24 July. He was one of 11 high school quarterback back from the pool of more than a thousand selected. 11 Elite played together and had the support of a quarter of striking back at college.
